we decided to finally try and sell the collection of trash (dresses i cut too short/theo's plethora of milkfed t-shirts) that was piling up in our "storage room." after carrying way too many trader joe's bags down melrose in 150 degree heat, I only sold about one thing. But Theo made the maximum price! $250! We're rich! .....we celebrated by buying DOUBLE the amount of groceries. Yay!

forgot to mention that we finally disposed of the chicken chair!

Big Swirls

our nightmare school term ended and we finally made it up to big sur! we went hiking in the forest behind claras house and went to a freezing cold beach with blustery winds that knocked us to the ground. we watched movies.. among them: loves of a blonde (frustrating!), school of rock (clara's choice..!), and broke back mountain (awkward!). clara prepared delicious meals, and mimi napped in golden rectangles of light. at night we practiced our disco dance moves, and clara taught me yoga stretches. in the morning we ventured into the "town" and drink $6 lattes from the local coffee shop (thievery!). hooray!

Things to start doing

Last night at the Old Joy, Clara and I discussed our plans for the future. Here are some of the things we are going to start doing:

- attend country night at the little joy on wednesday evenings
- take mimi on more walks in the wilderness
- get bangs
- attempt a journey up to big sur, again.
- drink more wine
- find a new television series to netflix- we both agree it's time to retire dawsons creek. i caught clara watching re-runs of the college years.. uh ohhhh
